Welcome to our Wednesday wrap up of the latest news from AirVenture, 2012. The rains finally came to Oshkosh, and the day dawned grey, promising off-and-on showers through the day. Leaders from seven aviation industry organizations sat together at the EAA Welcome Center this afternoon to discuss critical concerns on the Federal and State legislative fronts that, cumulatively, present some of the greatest threats the aviation industry has ever faced.

Part of the celebration is the presentation of a replica of the Morane-Saulnier Type L, an iconic design representative of those early years.
