Aero-TV Talks to Legendary Jack Roush about Business Aviation (Part 6)
On July 31st, GAMA, in cooperation with EAA AirVenture, gathered some of the most well-known, respected business aircraft professionals in AeroShell Square. EAA President Tom Poberezny, GAMA President Pete Bunce, FAA Administrator Randy Babbit, and other business professionals shared their perspectives on business aviation with attendees at the world’s largest sport aviation show.
The mission of the gathering was clear: to communicate a positive message about the business aviation market in a year when the industry has gotten a lot of negative attention by both the media and the government alike.
Crowd participants heard from both industry luminaries, who spoke in support of the industry, as well as business professionals who depend on business aviation to keep their companies functioning effectively, keep their staff employed, and help them travel to where the need to be when business must be done.
Aero-TV had the opportunity to speak with one such company owner, legendary racing legend Jack Roush, CEO of Roush Industries. Roush, during his speech to attendees, explained that he could not have built the enterprise he has, and be as competitive in the marketplace as he remains, had it not been for his business aircraft.
