ANN Introduces the Pilots of the All-New MS760 Aerobatics Team
Beginning today, nearly 1,600 air show professionals will gather at the International Council of Air Shows Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. To celebrate the 2009 ICAS Convention, Aero-TV is profiling some of the most extraordinary air show performers we’ve had the honor to meet over the last year.
Debuting in the 2010 air show season, Team MS760 Aerobatics is an all-new two-ship aerobatic formation jet team. While Team MS760 is new to the air show circuit, the pilots are well recognized in the aviation community; Captain Dale “Snort” Snodgrass, United States Navy Retired, and Lt. Colonel Jerry “Jive” Kerby, United States Air Force Retired, are both decorated military veterans with thousands of hours each in military jet aircraft.
Captain Dale “Snort” Snodgrass is a 26-year veteran of the United States Navy and one of the first of two Navy flight school graduates to be awarded an F-14 Tomcat; he was the first non-fleet experienced pilot to carrier qualify in the F-14, both day and night, and with 4,800 hours in the aircraft, is the highest time F-14 pilot. During his Navy career, he flew 12 operational Fighter Squadron/Wings tours including Command of Fighter Squadron 33 during Desert Storm for which he led 34 missions. For his service, he earned both the Bronze Star and three Navy Commendation Medals for Valor. In addition, Captain Snodgrass has over 22 years of air show experience including 11 years as a USAF Heritage Flight pilot.
