Aero-News: Quote of the Day

ANN's Quote of the Day usually derives from current news, though we reserve the right to pick quotes out of history that have a bearing on the day's events and issues.

Sometimes, you'll find them timely and in keeping with the content of the day's news... and sometimes, they'll just be thought-provoking.

Reader suggestions and comments are welcome... and if particularly intriguing, timely, or poignant, may themselves become future Quotes of the Day.

Let us hear from you, folks!

Aero-News Quote of the Day

“Our company is moving in the right direction as we start to see improved operational performance across our businesses from our ongoing focus on safety and quality. We continue to execute our plan, are seeing early positive results, and remain committed to making the fundamental changes needed to fully recover the company’s performance while navigating the current environment.”

Source: Kelly Ortberg, President and CEO, commenting as the Boeing Company released its first quarter report for 2025 that showed an 18% increase in revenue to $19.5 billion from $16.57 billion for Q1 2024, primarily representing a nearly 60% increase in deliveries of 130 commercial aircraft.
